Generations of the Saget family have worked to create their signature Saget La Perrière wines – melding the perfect balance, a blend of richness and elegance via the meticulous selection of grapes, expertly crafted by skilled winemakers.
Great care and attention are taken at harvest time, where half of the Sauvignon Blancs are picked by hand. First sorting is carried out in the vineyard, and then taken to the cellars to undergo a short, cold, pre-fermentation maceration before being pressed and fermented. Ageing on fine lees lasts for approximately 3-4 months before bottling in early spring.
